Who we are

What we collect

  • Order information: name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number and payment confirmation details.
  • Device information: browser type, IP address, time zone and pages viewed, collected via cookies and similar technologies.
  • Communications: messages you send us by email or contact form.

We do not store your full credit card number. Payments are processed by our payment provider under their own security standards.

Why we use it

  • To fulfil and deliver your order, including passing your name and delivery address to our suppliers and delivery partners.
  • To communicate with you about your order, including shipping and tracking updates.
  • To screen orders for fraud risk.
  • To improve our store and, where you have opted in, to send marketing.

Who we share it with

We share personal information with service providers who help us operate: Shopify (our ecommerce platform), our payment provider, our fulfilment and supplier partners, and delivery carriers. Some of these providers are located outside Australia, including in the United States and China. By placing an order you consent to this overseas disclosure for the purpose of fulfilling your order.

We may also disclose information where required by law.

Marketing

If you opt in to marketing emails, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by contacting us.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep your cart working, remember preferences and measure how our store performs. You can disable cookies in your browser, though parts of the store may stop working.

Access, correction and complaints

You can request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@petlifeplus.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.

If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles, contact us first. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

Retention

We keep order records for as long as required for tax and legal purposes, then delete or anonymise them.
